ShortLink is a competence center with a focus on the development of low-power electronics for wireless communication and portable products. With us you get access to our more than 25 years of experience in RF ASIC, Mixed-Signal ASIC Design, FPGA Design, Embedded System Design, Custom Antennas, Silicon IP, and more within the field.
The ShortLink group consists of two sister companies. ShortLink AB, which focuses on R&D, and ShortLink Compliance AB, engaged in testing operations in its own Test Center.

Through our Test Center, ShortLink Compliance, we offer both EMC and Radio Testing. Our special strength is to be able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and find measures, so that our customers are being provided with an efficient solution. Through our roots in wireless communication, we have adapted our Test Center to the special requirements for the development and measurement of complex radio systems and small built-in antennas.
We have solid expertise in certification requirements and regulatory issues, so that we can be a safe partner throughout the development and testing process leading up to certification and product launch.
ShortLink’s history took off in the mid 90s when we, as a new technology consulting company, presented our own concept for low-power wireless communication for the telecom company Ericsson. This resulted in the first wireless headset for mobile phones. Our advanced technology was the solution that made it possible. One of the cornerstones for realizing what would later became Bluetooth.
Since then, our passion for developing wireless and portable electronics solutions has developed. And today we help our customers put new innovative products on the market.
With over 25 years of experience, we are a safe and reliable partner in the wireless world. Our head office and R&D department are located in Karlstad, and our Test Center, ShortLink Compliance, is located next door in Säffle.
