Karlstad, 13 December 2022. Imsys AB and ShortLink AB work together in designing the next generation IM4000 microprocessor family.
ShortLink AB is working with Imsys to assist in the development of their next generation microprocessor IM4000. Imsys has over 40 years of experience in custom microprocessors which has traditionally been used in highly specialized applications. The advent of edge/AI computing has opened a window to a much larger applicable market for the technology.
Imsys has selected ShortLink AB as a key partner to develop the IM4000, an evolution of IM3000. This small new processor is designed for high performance, has dual cores, modern memory interface, and on-chip main memory. IM4000 is available as a Silicon IP for SoC addressing IoT and Edge applications.
This new processor family will launch before the New Year and the joint teams are currently finalizing the last testing.
